Blah

I feel like I'm running low on stuff to talk about. Let's see, what's going on? We moved not too long ago and we are working on making the house "homey". We have never really even put pictures on the wall-I'm not sure why-but things are looking better now in our new apartment. We switched our dogs to natural food without by-products. I highly recommend everyone do this. Think how gross by-products are and you're feeding them to your animals? yuck. I've also been buying some early Christmas gifts....and we've been listening to Christmas music at work. What can I say?

Random Things Going On Today

So I'm at work...on my weekend job...yes, I work7 days a week, it's stinky. On the weekends I work in the leasing office of my apartment complex, and we have a mini-waterfall outside with some coy fish in a pond. I think it's overflowing. There is water all over the sidewalk, and all these bubbles in the pond. Maybe it's stopped up. I hope I don't come to work tomorrow and the entire leasing office is under water. Seriously, the water just keeps spreading out on the sidewalk. I would also like to mention that for whatever odd reason my husband wants to go see good luck chuck this weekend. maybe because it has jessica alba in it, but he's really not like that. not into chick flicks or seeing movies just for the girls. did ebert and robert give it two thumbs up or something and i'm not just in the game? also, i applied for a job at UCO. Cross my fingers I'll hopefully get an interview! And finally, I've had 2 cokes, 3 oreos and a package of peanut butter crackers today.

Animal Shelter

My dream is to open an animal rescue shelter. If that could somehow be my full-time job I would love it! SO, if anyone has any connections or knows how I can start one or knows someone who needs someone to work for them or anything, let me know!

Vegas

So, my husband and I got married in Vegas last December. I just found a really good deal on priceline for $400 each and I realllllly want to buy it! But I know I'm going to have to save-but it just happens to be on the same week we went last year! So my motivation right now is to save for that-if I can even save-I'm bad with my budgeting. Oh-and no job offers yet. Still crossing my fingers!

Work

So I have been working my first full-time job since January. I'm not crazy about it-I know it's not for me. I actually had an interview last week and another one this week-and I'm going to have to take PTO this week to go on one of the interviews, which makes me feel kind-of bad, but at the same time, I have to take care of myself and make sure my bills get paid! And both of these opportunities are so much better suited for me. The job I have now just came at a time when I really needed a full-time job. It is related to my interests but not where I want to be. I'm excited and nervous -and I may not even get a job offer-but it's kind of exciting to think about. The real world is scary. Knowing I will be working 8-5 for the next 40 years is scary-so I need to find a job I really enjoy, since I'll be spending so much freaking time there!!!

If I could do it all over again, or had been given more of a science brain, I would be:

1-A Fashion Designer

2- A Vet.

3-Marine Biologist

4-Teacher
